Dr. Jocelyn Crocker (she/her) was born and raised in Amiskwaciwâskahikan, also known as Edmonton, in Treaty 6 territory. During the day, Jocelyn works as the Lead of the Canadian Adult Education Credential with the Government of Alberta. She also enjoys spending time with her spouse, two children, and dog. Jocelyn’s hands are always busy making art. Her lively and sometimes irreverent artwork is inspired by popular culture and nature. This playfulness and a strong sense of curiosity and wonder about the world have shaped her artistic practice into one of exploration and experimentation, and her self-expression incorporates beading, embroidery, felting, glass mosaics, printmaking, and painting.
