Nur Cirakoglu

My current body of work explores a sculptural, modern, three-dimensional visual forms  sometimes in contrast with some organic elements. I draw my inspiration from a wide range of sources such as botanical nature, textiles, architectural forms, plastic grocery mesh bags, or merely from a rough gemstone/specimen. 

I am intrigued to create a surprise, an illusion and even a little “shock” in a piece of jewelry. I like my jewelry to be worn everyday without being heavy, like an extension of the body itself.
