Ruby Serben

Ruby Serben was raised in an influenced by the Alberta landscape, surrounded by textures and forms, rocks, and clay. Her focus did not center around art until 2000, where she fell in love with clay, and Shino glazes. They became a natural reference to her environment. She eagerly studied nationally and internationally with seasoned potters, in search of balance with considered forms that are canvas for the rich and varies surfaces that are enhanced from reduction firings. Her work can be found in Alberta and B.C. galleries, has been published, received awards, and attends numerous juried shows throughout Canada.
