Inspiration for this piece came from the natural environment of treaty lands/Indigenous Nations, the collections and dioramas of “Naturalists,” as well as photographs of cattle ranches and homesteads with skulls of animals displayed serve as a point of departure to explore my own connection and unique relationship with Ancestry and Place.
