While exploring the Bling Bucket, I discovered two shimmering pieces of mother-of-pearl that had once been shoe clips. Transformed into an arched window shape for a pendant and earrings, they impart a glimpse of their new purpose.

I also selected a strand of glass pearls, single-pearl studs, dated clip-on earrings, and a damaged floral brooch—items with visible signs of wear that I viewed as artifacts with rich histories rather than mere discarded jewellery.

Inspired by themes of transformation and renewal, much like spring after winter, I crafted a necklace and earrings that honour the origins of these pieces while allowing them to begin a new journey. Through disassembly and reimagination, these materials are given a second life, continuing their story through adornment.

Exhibition Pre-Order items can be purchased in advance and then be collected 4-5 working days after the exhibition ends at that location. Exhibitions items are pre-order only. Purchased items will be available following the end of the exhibition.. Our Alberta Craft Shop staff will provide an estimated date for pickup/shipping/delivery.

Store in airtight container or plastic baggie away from direct sunlight, to prevent the sterling silver parts from tarnishing, buff bail with polishing cloth to shine if desired.

Return and Exchange Policy

If you are not entirely satisfied with your Craft artwork, Alberta Craft will gladly exchange or issue a gift card for your purchase. Please present your till receipt or gift receipt with the item within 30 days of original purchase. Only exchanges with receipts or gift receipts with be honored.

All exchanges must be returned unused in their original purchase condition, with the original packing material, and any other item or accessory provided by the artist. In the event that a returned craftwork has items missing, is damaged or broken, or if the item has become broken due to misuse or as a result of adapting it for something outside of its intended use, the exchange may be refused.

If you find that you received your purchase damaged, please contact us immediately. If the error is ours, we will gladly exchange the product for you or provide a credit for any future purchase. Special orders and custom-made items cannot be exchanged or returned. Deposits on special orders and custom-made items cannot be exchanged or refunded.
