Balance makes me feel in control and calm but symmetry is boring. I love the magic of a highly asymmetrical composition and I think this one is strong. That combined with purple fuchsia and orange, what's not to love?!

Tracey Cameron is a Calgary based Artist who creates colorful layered fabric wall hangings that blur the boundaries between painting, quilting and collage. She celebrates difference as a source of strength and beauty by combining unexpected patterns, colours and textures to explore how individuality can exist alongside connection. Cameron earned a Bachelors in Design from the Alberta University of Arts in 2006, and allows that graphic training to inform her work. Drawing on influences from patchwork quilting and Geometric Abstraction she draws people in with vibrant colours, bold prints and deeply layered textures.

How to Care for Textile Art
With a few simple precautions, your textile art can last for generations.
● Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
● Avoid heat and humidity (ideal: 18–23°C, 40–60% humidity).
● Do not wash. Spot clean only if necessary.
● Handle with clean hands or gloves to protect the fibres.
● Dust gently with a feather duster or vacuum on low.
● Allow textiles to breathe—avoid sealing behind glass.

Return and Exchange Policy
If you are not entirely satisfied with your Craft artwork, Alberta Craft will gladly exchange or issue a gift card for your purchase. Please present your till receipt or gift receipt with the item within 30 days of original purchase. Only exchanges with receipts or gift receipts with be honored.
All exchanges must be returned unused in their original purchase condition, with the original packing material, and any other item or accessory provided by the artist. In the event that a returned craftwork has items missing, is damaged or broken, or if the item has become broken due to misuse or as a result of adapting it for something outside of its intended use, the exchange may be refused.
If you find that you received your purchase damaged, please contact us immediately. If the error is ours, we will gladly exchange the product for you or provide a credit for any future purchase. Special orders and custom-made items cannot be exchanged or returned. Deposits on special orders and custom-made items cannot be exchanged or refunded.
