Numerous acid treatments were employed to create each layer and component of this highly decorated turkey egg. egg. The outlines of the flower stalk, flower cross section, and leaf were dyed and waxed, followed by a wash and etch. The flower design was hand-painted with dye to achieve a shaded, painterly look, and the common and Latin names were waxed. After a final wash and etch, the background on the design faces was carefully dyed and shaded to look like an antique botanical journal, complete with paper staining and smudges.
Finished in UV-resistant epoxy.

Return and Exchange Policy
If you are not entirely satisfied with your Craft artwork, Alberta Craft will gladly exchange or issue a gift card for your purchase. Please present your till receipt or gift receipt with the item within 30 days of original purchase. Only exchanges with receipts or gift receipts with be honored.
All exchanges must be returned unused in their original purchase condition, with the original packing material, and any other item or accessory provided by the artist. In the event that a returned craftwork has items missing, is damaged or broken, or if the item has become broken due to misuse or as a result of adapting it for something outside of its intended use, the exchange may be refused.
If you find that you received your purchase damaged, please contact us immediately. If the error is ours, we will gladly exchange the product for you or provide a credit for any future purchase. Special orders and custom-made items cannot be exchanged or returned. Deposits on special orders and custom-made items cannot be exchanged or refunded.
